Luv Luv Luv Management 2011 Highs

Here at Luv Luv Luv HQ we’re sad to turn our back on such an amazing year - but 2012 is already taking shape. More of our exciting plans soon, but for now here’s a little farewell gambit to the year with our highlights, starting with our very own Florence and Blood Orange.
Florence and the Machine
Difficult to know where to start with Florence who had a year of high after high. Early on in the year there was the Grammys and then the unforgettable performance at the Oscars.

In May Florence got to perform at the amazing Met Ball, playing for the likes of Paul McCartney and Madonna - rubbing shoulders with Beyonce afterwards (of course). The American tour followed, documented on our blog by our very own Tabitha Denholm.
Flo also found the time to help Karl Lagerfeld launch the Chanel Spring 2012 collection in Paris.
Thing busied up even more later on in the year as Flo’s second album ‘Ceremonials’ was announced, Flo gracing the NME cover for a comeback interview and secretly headlining the frickin awesome Luv Luv Luv party in Dalston. Next on the list was the album release itself and going number one with the record is the arguably the highest of all the highs. What better way to celebrate than perform on Jools Holland and The X-Factor. Rounding off the year by selling out three nights at London’s legendary Alexandra Palace. We can’t wait for those shows, and more exciting times in 2012.
Blood Orange
On to Dev and a fantastic debut year as Blood Orange. Amazing to think we’ve only been working on the project since June and already have so many highs.
Shortly after Dev played London institution YoYo and blew everyone away. The EP followed shortly afterwards, taking things up another level…
Pretty quickly afterwards the full album followed, on Terrible Records in the USA and Domino here in the UK. We were also blessed with this amazing GIF (highlight of the year!?):

The reviews came in, glowing and shiny, full of praise for our esteemed Mr Hynes, including this amazing piece in the Guardian Guide.

Not bad going for a project less than a year old! We expect big things next year.. stay very cloesly tuned!
